Security management challenges

Celebrating its 100th birthday this year and still spreading its beauty and history across seven floors, previously known as the Gresham Club, remains one of the longest-serving and exquisite members clubs in the heart of the City of London.

With analysts forecasting that employee-owned smartphones and tablets used in the enterprise will more than double by 2014 to 350 million, companies are having to think seriously about their security policies and processes to ensure that their data remains protected - regardless of device type, location and ownership. At the same time, they need to protect staff and their data from a range of increasingly sophisticated cyberattacks. Meanwhile, cloud computing has the potential to add to the security challenge or be part of the solution, depending on how it is used.
