To examine some of these issues, CBR is holding a dinner in London on November 30th in association with IBM. We’ll discuss how cognitive technologies can best be adopted by Government departments, and will examine the benefits this approach can bring.

All of this takes place in the historic Household Cavalry Museum, a living museum in the heart of Horse Guards, Whitehall, which includes a working stables. Guests will learn about the history of the Household Cavalry, which comprises the two senior regiments in the British Army – The Life Guards and the Blues and Royals. These regiments have the unique role of providing Her Majesty The Queen’s mounted bodyguard on State and ceremonial occasions, but are also on active service in conflicts all over the world. Their fascinating history, dating back to the restoration of King Charles II in 1660, is manifested by a dazzling array of uniforms, arms, pictures and rare artefacts, all showcased in the magnificent mid-18th century stables.
