Across the public sector, organisations are getting to grips with digital transformation, and a key step on that journey is the creation of a foundation on which new services can be implemented, so it forms a fundamental component of any digital transformation initiative.
An effective digital platform provides a set of core services that underpin new applications, it needs to be cost effective, secure, easy to manage and maintain. Once an organisation has defined its future digital platform, the hard work begins; organisations have to manage the implementation of the platform itself, and then embark on a migration program to move from their legacy infrastructure to it. The process of migration calls on a range of skills from core technical expertise, to effective change management.

This roundtable event will be an opportunity to highlight the challenges public sector organisations (and others) faced, and the approaches that they took to overcome them.
