Date: 6th Dec 2018

Venue: 1 Moorgate Pl, London EC2R 6EA

The magnitude, frequency and impact of network and information systems security events are increasing. Join CBR and LogRhythm to discuss why cyber threat detection and response could be the biggest factor for compliance with the networking and information systems directive (NISD).

For operators of essential services, the NISD requires that organisations maintain the highest level of information security or risk fines of up to £17m. As the year nears its end, those for whom NISD applies are putting the finishing touches to cyber self-assessments. Much more than a tick box exercise, the assessments highlight what these national infrastructure-critical organisations have done to date and, crucially, what security measures they still need to put in place.

It is in this context that CBR, in association with LogRhythm, is convening a special end-of-year Dining Club dedicated to NISD. From utilities to healthcare, from transport to digital service providers, the event will bring together operators of essential services to discuss NISD implications and best practice response.

During the evening we will explore how organisations are meeting the challenges of compliance – challenges complicated further for those managing legacy systems and attempting to bridge the gap between industrialised systems, such as Scada, and information technology.

LogRhythm will share its approach to NISD detection and response including the role of its Next GenerationNextGen SIEM platform. It will demonstrate how through security information and event monitoring, detection and response, incident response, analytics and compliance and reporting it can help organisations meet the four NISD objectives.
