It's almost three decades since government's 'Information Superhighways' research paper, published in December 1994, looked at a new way of delivering government and services to citizens.
CIOs, CTOs, IT directors and fellow digital technology executives are invited to join Tech Monitor and partners IBM on Tuesday 30 March 2021 to discuss with a small cohort of your peers the current state of digital transformation in the UK public sector, and to what extent disruptive emerging technologies like artificial intelligence and automation will drive the next wave of innovation in government.
Joining will be GlobalData's Principal Analyst for Central Government, Rob Anderson, and we will discuss the digital government success stories, where the opportunities and challenges lie, and how technology modernisation initiatives in IT infrastructure and cloud services have enabled government organisations to develop new data analytics capabilities - and in particular how intelligent process automation will help develop a collaborative, hybrid workforce of people and machines and support the way your teams work.
Topics to be discussed include:
• Putting data at the heart of public sector digital transformation initiatives.
• The platforms for developing AI, ML and RPA capabilities.
• The business resiliency dividend of intelligent automation.
• The future of work, and how automating task can will complement tech talent, rather than replace it.
